FAQ's (Frequently Asked Questions)
What is a snack route business?
A Snack Route Business consists of a number of convenience store clients who
purchase snack inventory for their retail locations.
Can you give me some examples?
Frito Lay and Tom's Chips are in the snack route business. Coke and Budweiser
are in the snack route business.
How does a Mega Snax Route work?
A Mega distributor typically services about 180 c-store customers on a 21 day
cycle.
Do I have to bill my customers and carry accounts receivable?
Most of your customers buy merchandise from you for cash when you deliver the
products to their location.
How much does a Mega Snax Route cost?
The price of a Mega Snax Route is $50,000. We encourage you to research
other route opportunities online to see how our offer compares.
What do I get for $50,000?
For $50,000 you receive 180 convenience store customers, the merchandising
equipment at the locations, and at least 3 weeks of on location training.
Why does a Mega Snax Route cost so much less than other similar opportunities?
We are a manufacturer of snack foods. We expect to earn our profit on the sale
of snacks - not on the sale of routes.
What else do I need?
You need a vehicle and a credit card. A pickup truck, SUV, or a van is sufficient.
The credit card is for purchasing inventory. You will need about a $5,000 limit.
How much money can I make?
Your gross margin should average over 25%. Established Mega distributors can
average $4,000 in weekly sales for a gross profit of $1,000 per week. This is not
meant as a guarantee. Some sell less and some sell much more. Some of our
largest one truck operators can sell $8,000 or more in a single week.
